Background
VE Commercial Vehicle a 50:50 Joint Venture between AB Volvo and Eicher Motors Ltd to build and sell Powertrains and Commercial Vehicle using there technology capabilities and dealership network. Post JV integration, organization initiated the the process to transform there manufacturing environment by seamlessly integrating shop floor with Top Floor.
Project Details
To achieve a robust and sustainable manufacturing environment with major emphasis on quality process, VECV initiated the SAP ME implementation project. Diseno Consulting was responsible for managing end to end program along with customer and implementation partner. We also worked with leadership team of VECV to identify the MES product best suited for there business requirement. We led business process discussion with customer and implementation partner for seamless mapping with MES solution. We also led quality process related discussion and designed a solution which completely transformed there Non Conformance activity from paper based to real time 3D based digital solution.
