After detailed analysis of business model and other marketplace solution, the goal was to grow their business through a more robust ecommerce solution, and improve the customer experience.

Background

Customer is a national company specialized in providing integrated services and innovative solutions to improve the results of the private health sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as well as improving the services provided to the public and promote them to a level comparable to the finest systems globally used in line with the market requirements and the Kingdom vision 2030.

Project Details

Customer selected S4 HANA, SAP Ariba and SAP Hybris Commerce for their digital marketplace platform based on robust functionality, quick time-to-value, and global scalability. AWS was selected for infrastructure hosting. The unified, Hybris based B2B platform help customers find the right product more quickly, the site offers detailed search functions with product comparisons and additional services such as suggestions and inspiration. Users can manage and track orders through personal accounts, view their order history, and create customized stock lists.

We developed the roadmap for the Emdadat Marketplace, developed the requirements, and implemented the solution using the Agile methodology. As a result, most of the effort and time was spent on integrating Hybris and Ariba with the back-end system S4 HANA and developing the user interface. Following methodology and business process understanding allowed Emdadat to provide feedback during solution development, testing, and implementation of the solution. Emdadat completed its marketplace implementation in six months. We initiated the project by developing a detailed roadmap for implementing the marketplace solution to meet immediate goals, but also to lay the foundation for future capabilities and growth.
